Please join us for an invigorating start to CFE’s 2011 Workshop!  Opening Remarks will be presented by Esmé Raji Codell, a bestselling author and Chicago Public School educator.   Educating Esme, her first published work, is a detailed account of her first year teaching in CPS, and one of her later novels, Sahara Special, won the 2004 International Reading Association Children's Book Award for Intermediate Fiction.
